Join us for our April 11th Sale and take the opportunity to purchase quality heifers that are the result of one of the longest standing VAPAH Heifer Development Programs.  These are good looking functional 5 and 6 frame heifers weighing from 900 to 1200 pounds in above average flesh ready to go to grass.  They are bred to start calving in late September on the AI heat to an outstanding set of industry leading AI and Natural Service Angus Sires.  The AI sires include Dalebanks Centennial 2526, KCF Target and CAR Efficient 534.  In addition, we will offer a good selection of females bred natural service (on their second heat) to the ABS AI Stud Bull Mohnen Modern Design.  All of the natural service sires utilized are KCF sired calving ease bulls out of Total, Whitman, Quality and 1407.  Also, you will find an exceptional set of Performance Tested VQA Qualified Bulls that are the sires of the heifers (over 80% of the heifers were sired by either KCF Angus, Gelbvieh, Hereford and Balancers or AI Sires).  A Complete sale order will be available after March 28th by contacting Mike Henry at 804-337-2513 or email at mlhenry2@tds.net  Heifers will be priced using the following value added price index. Plus – a buyer purchasing 5 head or more will receive a 5% discount off of the purchase price; for heifers purchased during the sale.

We will offer approx. 70 head of AI Bred Heifers and 30 head of Heifers bred on their second heat.

Sale Procedure – Each lot of heifers will be offered at the listed price.  If more than one person bids on a lot of heifers, bids will be taken and the cattle will be sold to the highest bidder. Note: Heifers will not be run through the “sale ring”; remaining in their display pens through the sale.  KCF has constructed new display pens for approx. 20 head per pen and we will use paint brands with each heifer’s lot number on both sides of her hip.  You will find it much easier to identify the heifers that you have interest in.  Heifers not claimed during the sale will be available starting at the listed base price immediately following the sale.  Heifers not purchased on sale day will be available starting at the listed base price for 45 days following the sale by contacting Mike Henry.
